Card Draft Sign Ups!

Ive seen these elsewhere, I thought I would try one. Here are the rules.
Send me 15 cards. They must meet the following criteria:
1- Card with a BV of 12 or higher. GU or Auto.
2 through 8- GU or autos with a BV of 8 or higher
9 and 10- Numbered, inserts, or rookies with a BV of 5 or higher
11 through 15- Cards of any of the four sports with a BV of 8 or higher.
1 Through 10 must be baseball, 11 through 15 can be anything.
I would like at least ten entries. Draft will be Friday, July 1st at 7pm Eastern Time (unless you guys cant make it, then comment and Ill change the time. Comment here and Ill email you the address to send the cards to. Any questions, comment here. ADVERTISING ON YOUR BLOG GUARANTEES YOU A TOP 5 PICK, although you must be one of the first 5 to do so. If your are 6th or 7th to advertise, you will get those respective draft spots.Let me know!

Question of the Day

I'm an OCDish guy. Everything has to be sorted and in it's place. My cards used to be sorted by this "System"
Player (All Sports, Alphabetical by Last Name)
However, I got bugged looking for baseball cards and having hockey mixed in. Then, I went sorting by sports. All the baseball in the same boxes, all the football in others, etc. This again, made me angry. What if I was trading and needed to find a certain player? I would have to go through 8 5000 count boxes to find 2 or 3 cards of some Erubiel Durazo-esque player. Then I went by sets. I found it fun to see all the same cards together, but I had the same problem before. What about the player collectors? So I finally came up with the following "system"
Sort by sport. (Say it 5 times fast :D )
When all sorted by sport, sort by team.
When sorted by sport and team, sort by player.
When sorted by sport, team, and player, sort by year.
When sorted by sport, team, player, and year, sort by set.
When sorted by sport, team, player, year, and set, go in numerical order.

I still have doubts on if my system works. So the question is...
How do you sort your cards?

Pence Collection Update

Hey guys- Im trying to post as much as possible, when the scanners available Ill feel more motivated. Just wanted to stop by and say I have accomplished a couple milestones in my Hunter Pence Collection.
- I have 149 cards in it
- I have 9 cards of a rainbow (Topps/ToppsChrome 2010)
- I have a 1/1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its a 2008 Topps M&M But I could care less. A 1/1 is a 1/1. And I traded a card /500 for it and /999. Thats it lol total BV 4 bucks. How great is Sports Card Forum? Anyway, thats all for now, and if, ya know, have Pence #150 for me and have traded with me before, ya know where to send it ;)

Bigger and Better game! PLEASE READ I NEED YOUR HELP

I decided to try this game of trading with cards. I've never had a 1 of 1 card in my life. So, I am going to go the "One Red Paperclip" Route. I am starting with one 2010 Bowman Platinum #22 Alfonzo Soriano card. Interested in it? Trade me a card that is slightly better than this (A low end rookie, perhaps?) Wax busting here at the Bullpen

Hey there everyone. I can't scan today as I'm on a tight schedule, but today I ran by Target to look for some Heritage. No dice. However, the value pack box was on steriods. They had Ginter, Goodwin, Heritage, Bowman,etc. I grabbed 13 packs. I got a 2009 Topps Heritage Chrome of Felix Hernandez /1960. I also got a Blue Parallel of Alexi Ramirez /2011 out of the new Opening Day. The great stuff was in the pack of 2005 UD All Star Classics. In that pack, I got rookies of Jake Peavy and Tadhito Iguchi. I also got a hit, a GU of Frank Thomas. Nice hit from a future HOFer is always welcome. As I was on the way home, I saw my LCS. I hadn't been there in almost a month and I thought 'What the Heck' and grabbed a box of 2008 UD Masterpieces. This was my 3rd box of it. Out of here, I got within 5 cards of my Masterpieces set. My hits were... A green parallel /75 of Felix Hernandez. A GU of Cole Hamels. and my 6th auto of the set in Bill Hall. A current Astro is always nice. If you are a fan of King Felix , you should email me as those cards are for trade along with almost everything else.
Sorry for the lack of posting, I've been busy with school testing and stuff. I will be back to daily posting by Opening Day. That's all for now.

Hey guys. I recently fell in love with these nice little cards called Diamond Parallels. I have a grand total of....1. Ryan Kalish. 2011 Topps hasn't been good to me. (Except for the huge Berra relic /60 with over 1 in a thousand odds, but thats a post for the future. ) Anyway, I know there are tons of people collecting them, but I'll make it worth your while. I got some other bait goodness burning a hole in my pocket. So anyway, shoot me some emails if you have any non-Kalish parallels. Seriously. I want to trade. I have some good posts coming up including the recent Dave and Adams purchase. See ya!
