New site (and maybe a contest)
So I am planning to start a new website to cover strictly Astros news and analysis. I'm going to need a name for it as well as I lack creativity. If someone comments and idea I like, I'll send em something. Not sure what, yet, but It'll be something. So yeah. Comment away.

Easy deals, anyone?
Hey guys. Trades have been hard to come by. So let's try something easy.
I give you a team bag of whatever team you collect (any sport) and you give me a team bag of the stuff I collect. If I have enough, we could do multiple team bags. Doesn't even matter. I collect the following.
Houston Astros
Philadelphia 76ers
Washington Capitals
Washington Redskins
Penn St Alum in football
Villanova alum in basketball
Players;
Hunter Pence
Braden Holtby
Yasiel Puig
So yeah. Shoot me an email camh44 at gmail dot com. Thanks!

Completed Trifecta; Marreese Speights
I figured I could do a little series and make a post whenever I complete a trifecta (An Autograph, Game Used, and Rookie of a player). Let's start with Marreese Speights.
Speights started his career as a top prospect for the Sixers, getting drafted 16th overall out of Florida in 2008. Speights was traded in the offseason of 2011 to the Grizzlies, and was traded by them to the Cleveland Cavs two years later. Speights has played a valuable role off the bench all throughout his career, averaging 7.8 points and 4.4 rebounds in 16.4 minutes per game throughout his career.
Let's start out with the rookie I own of Speights.
This is a 2008-09 Bowman RC of Speights. I picked it up for a dollar at a card show this week.
Next up is the game used.
This one is a 2008-09 SPx Freshman Orientation relic of Speights. I got this one at a show a few months ago. It was only two or three bucks.
And the auto.

I expect to be posting a few more Trifectas in the next few days. Be sure to check em out!
Package from Barves Junkie / Dayf / Card Junk
(So, if you are reading this, Barves Junkie / Dayf / Card Junk, I'm not exactly sure what to call you. I'm going to go with Dayf throughout this post, mostly because it is shortest.)
I received a package in the mail yesterday from Dayf, who runs the blog Cardboard Junkie. He tweeted about some of the first basketball cards he has opened in years, and one of the cards he pulled was an Arnett Moultrie rookie card that I had been looking for from 2012-13 Past and Present.
Well, a few tweets were exchanged and within a week there was a package in my mailbox. The first card of note was the card that originally sparked a deal.
This is the Arnett Moultrie rookie from Past and Present. This is somehow only the second Moultrie card in my Sixers collection.
The second card of note from this package is pure seventies sexiness.
This is a 1977-78 Topps card of Sixers Center Caldwell Jones. Jones was a hell of a shot blocker in his prime. He played with the Sixers from 1976-1982. The only video I can find of Jones is him being dunked on by Larry Bird.
And, we finish off the post with my favorite "card" in the package. I'm using that term lightly.
Dayf, if you haven't gotten your package yet, expect it any day now.
